We leave Tengboche early on October 28. The views along the trail are great.
This is a view of Ama Dablam.
We arrive in Dingboche later in the afternoon. We get settled in our rooms at
the tea house. Kellie decides to do some laundry. Catherine watches.
While we are in the tea house in Dingboche we meet up with Pat McGouran from
Toronto, Canada. We met him back in 2003 in Peru - we hiked the Inca Trail with
him. It was hard to believe that we actually saw someone we knew in Dingboche,
Nepal at 14,152 ft elevation!
We spent a second day in Dingboche to help us acclimate (altitude 14,152 ft). While there, we took a day hike up to Nanghar Tshang peak. We made it to 16,404 ft before heading back to the tea house.

Same area.
This is Lobuche, elevation 16,123 ft. We spent the night here.

This is where we brush our teeth and clean up. The water is not drinkable.
