Wednesday October 3

We started our hike after lunch on Wednesday October 3. We started at the Agnew Meadows trailhead, about half way between the city of Mammoth Lakes and Devils Postpile National Monument.

Elevation profile of our hike

We hiked about 6 miles to Summit Lake and Clark Lakes. We set up camp on top of a ridge between the two lakes. Our tent was on a cliff overlooking the Clark Lakes. We hiked down the hill the other direction to get our water from Summit Lake.
